Anyone have a picture of zwitter ashtray showing how it is mounted from inside (trunk view) ?? I have bent tabs & slots in there that have me confused.

Those slots are for the blanking plate on STANDARD Zwitters where no ashtray was used or sold with the car. I will go find my photo for you.

ahhhh... this helps big time, thanks!

My ashtray housing that came with the car only has a slot on the bottom for the tab then held in place with a screw on top. What is the purpose of the other two tabs? Or do I have the wrong housing?

My zwitter has only one screw on the inside top of the ashtray, and looks like it fits a tab on the bottom, no support like the in the post above?

53 ovals had everything listed above..................The really only difference was the ash tray and arrows on the speedo. If you're talking about 54-57 ovals .......................you are correct. Wink (but you already know that Eric Very Happy )
