oh believe me, i have been "searching" under anything "mango" on the forums, classifieds, google,etc since i bought this bus. That thread was the first thing i thought of though. When i went to the motor vehicle agency i thought about personalized but there are too many options. I can't even do "obus" because the bus is not orange and i don't owe "0" buses anymore. I think my wife is mad because i am more excited about the bus getting here than the kitchen that we just had gutted and is almost completed. oh well... Very Happy

paul, i made the mistake of carrying a picture of one of my old beetles in my wallet i the pre-internet days. my wife at that time saw it and was a little upset. i know what you mean.

thanks! i had to lift that statue the last time my back went wacky. i had to put him in a wagon and wheel him to the hon-duh and then have my poor tiny wife help lift him and put him in. Getting him out was fun too. The bus was shipped from AZ but was transplanted there from Missouri and Iowa. I am going to call the gent that pulled it out from no mans land next week in order to get the full story so i don't get my facts wrong. I will post the details then.

I remember seeing those when i was a kid and the fact that someone already had painted it, made the decision to buy the statue a little easier.
