i just bought a new bug its a 66 narrowed 6 inches and its adjustable and its on drop spindles runnin 205's out back it looks like it might be droped maybe 1 notch. up front its got temps 125's smoothies all around i want to get the beam off the ground and get some rubber under it (i drive on the free way) so i was thinkin 145's the beam sits about 2 in off the ground now. so let me know what you guys think!! also i have the stock spindles would i be better off puttin those back on and adjustin the beam down in stead or would they rub the buckets?

You want to keep the dropped spindles on as they keep the wheel back farther from the headlight bucket. The 145's will definitely give you more rubber and a height to get your beam off the ground. You still might run into problems hitting the headlight buckets though.

thanks i appreciate the info i had a 67 bout 6 years ago and it was not narrowed it was more euro look but this is going to be stock just dumped so with the 145's you think il be good at like 55 60 mph and not feeling like im eating pavement the temps are so full of air like 55 60 psi they just like riding on wood wheels i think the 145 is like 1 1/2 maybe 2 in taller and that would be great! thanks again il get some pics up soon . i think you guys will like it!
