I picked this up the other day, hoping it was a zwitter headlight switch. Of course I didn't have mine with me to match, only from memory. I can't get to mine at the moment, but this one is missing the mount and collar that holds the mount on. It's got the "K" with circle around it, which made me think it was the right one?

Why? Same manufacturer, looked like the same size with the photos, and the mounts have the same 58 etc numbers. I see there are extra holes for additional posts but thought it might be a later 53? The mount is why I wasn't sure as to how the escution would screw on.

No, it's not a Zwitter light switch. However.....there is a very good chance that you can rebuild a pooched Zwitter light switch with parts from this one. That is what I did, and it turned out great.

yeah, I had mine apart at one point and see that there's a few delicate areas in there too, you're right... at least good for parts!
