any one know what these are and where i can find Info on them

but dude says offset isnt that far deeper than empi spoked

almost 2" shorter than currents
but a good 1/2" wider also says they are 4 lug VW

Most people call those Euro 5 spokes. Make sure to note that they only fit 4 bolt pattern (late model stuff).

A good friend of mine has a set on his dad's 65 vert.

For $80, you can't go wrong. The tires are worth more than that alone.

i know
and i can always notch up in the front if i need to
i remember that i had origionally 205/70/15s i think on the rear
so 50s shouldnt be a problem

they look good on that car

I remember those from the 80s as they were popular on water-cooled VWs.

I didn't like them then and they have not gotten better.

You might need to drill your rotors and drums for 4 on 100mm bolt circle. And use spacers to get the correct off set on them. I am not a fan of the water cooled rims but I do like the 17inch BBS rims kind of like a honey comb rim. They have a german look to them.

what wheel company made them, or are they still being made, maybe with newer wheel patterns?

I just bought a set for my 1972 super beetle. I paid $175 plus $40 for shipping. They were brand new still in there boxes.. I just put 195/50R-15 KUMHO s on them. They look good on my super...
