Has anyone out there done a successful power brake conversion on a Ghia?

I'm a disabled driver. Our '74 Ghia convertible with AutoStick is my wife's pride and joy.

I drive our other cars using hand controls, but don't want to install a hand control in the Ghia as it would bash my wife's knees, and she drives it 90% of the time.

We have a portable hand control, but unlike a permanent one, it provides no mechanical advantage, and I can't generate enough force on it to safely stop the Ghia.

I've found some remote brake boosters on the net, but would love to hear from someone who has figured out how to to convert to power brakes.

Thanks!!

It is rumored there was a kit 40 years ago by EMPI - but cant say I have seen one.

one option to consider is an electric boost used by hod rodders and apparently adapted from Jeeps

You can get remote brake servos for dual circuit brakes, kit car builder suppliers stock them like this one in the UK for £288
