What is the best and safest way to connect an aftermarket steering shaft (7/8" Dia.) to a stock steering box?.
Should I use the stock coupler?
Should I use a u-joint?
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful
Thanks |

If you are using a stock box in stock location, you dont need a u-joint. You can just get a straight/stock type coupler. _________________ '69 Baja Bug

by using a u-joint and a billet cap on the steering box ,you can now adjust the bump steer .by simply rotating the steering box on the front beam ,just a slight movement of the steering box really makes a big change in the bump steer .resulting in a much better driving vehicle |
