This is off-topic but respect this groups knowledge.
I have been asked to sell a motorcycle for a woman at church because her husband has 2 HD motorcyles and has relocated to Colorado for work. They are only taking 1 bike with them. The husband has offered to donate a commission to the our church if our church can sell the extra HD.
I know of craigslist and e-bay. Is there a "thesamba.com" for Harleys that I can list this beast? _________________ '68 Beetle

MSN has a Harley Tech Talk forum/sales site that's pretty good. I would also recommend HD4SALE.com. _________________ Suicide is man's way of telling God, "You can't fire me; I quit!" - Bill Maher |

www.hdforums.com has motorcycles for sale listings, it is free to list, an intro before you do is always nice. _________________ Bob

yeah, so what is it? we'd like to see what it looks like out of curiousity.
have you talked to a local harley dealer? the couple around here take bikes as consignment. and when buyers go into the showroom and get sticker shock over the new bikes they are more inclined to look at the used one there =) |

And.....Winter is a great time to buy a bike and a bad time to sell one. Talk to a Harley Dealer in your area. They also have a "Bluebook" for motorcycles and you can find the price there. IMHO, the less personalization done to the bike the faster it will sell. _________________ Never drive faster than your Angel can fly
$24,100 was too hard to resist................. |

I cannot take any pictures of it this weekend. We are covered in snow in St. Louis.
Regarding Winter being a bad time to sell - we have all of 2008 to sell the bike - they are in no hurry to move it.
I will get pictures when the weather turns better.
