******BUYER BEWARE******Fabio Safari******

It's time for me to share the experience I have had (still ongoing) with Fabio Safari.

I ordered a front and rear safari window for my Bay Window Bus back in March with his promise of delivering the products to me in 5-7 weeks. Paid immediately after discussing cost via PayPal. No wasted time.

At the 5 week mark I started to check in with him to see how things were going and he told me that he is still working on it and that the glass company has been quite slow in delivering his artisanal ordered glass. I wasn't too worried considering it was just at 5 weeks and he gave me a lead time of up to 7 weeks.

So, I checked in at 6 weeks. and again at 7 weeks. With the same stories from him of delays.

I was cordial with him and understanding as I work in the car industry and I am aware of things that are beyond our control.

Fast Forward to endless promises of shipping this coming week. Or next week. week after week of false promises... Turned into months of lies and excuses. At this point I have to assume it's only lies.

Finally, he shipped the front safari window on July 3rd. Received in good condition on July 7th. (Payment was made for BOTH windows on March 13th) 16 weeks after my initial order I had only received 1 of the windows.

When the window was delivered, I immediately message him telling him I received it, but I was confused because I also ordered a rear safari window kit. I had expected both items to ship since it had already been 16 weeks.

He told me that he would get it out very soon and to be patient because everything is handmade and takes time. But at this point my patience was being taken advantage of. Afterall, it had already been 16 weeks since my order.

Now he is trying to force a refund down my throat. After all this time? He wants to refund me? Absolutely not. I cannot get back the wasted time. The weeks of waiting past his promised delivery timeframe.

He told me he shipped the window and FedEx dropped it when he dropped off. He sent me a picture of a shattered glass... probably used this with many orders as an excuse. But just my speculation... He provided a tracking number on July 31st, and after a few days of no movement I reached out to him to find out why it hasn't even been received by FedEx according to their tracking details. Now he said it was stuck in customs and blamed them. I called FedEx, he was lying again. There was no customs hold. He had not dropped off the package. But at this point I was not surprised.

August 28th I finally received the rear safari glass---- SHATTERED into a million pieces. NOW at this point I have only a few days left of PayPal protection. So, he has left me NO CHOICE but to file a dispute.

Shortly after filing the dispute Fabio reaches out to me and tells me he will not resolve anything for my rear window till I cancel the dispute. Telling me he can't trust me if he sends me another window I will lie and say he didn't send it and get a refund from PayPal. What?! You are trying to call me a liar and a scammer!!! I told him to please just send me the glass and I will pay out of my own pocket to get it installed on the frame. But still, he refuses and says he won't do anything till I cancel the PayPal dispute.

After a week or so of filing the claim, he reached out offering me a free shifter with a value of $250 to cancel the claim and he will send it with the glass. Bribing me now? When he is still on the wrong side of this. It has been 6 months from my order date.... and it's still not fulfilled.

My PayPal claim has been pending review for over a month. He adds new evidence near to extend the time. Yesterday I called and now he wants me to return the damaged product, and I will receive a refund.

SURE!!! I'll return it if you provide me a shipping label. I absolutely will not pay a penny to return a damaged product I paid for over 6 months ago. I gave him the option to send me the glass and I'll deal with it and close the case. He refused.

My PayPal dispute is still ongoing, and I have yet to get a resolution.

Overall, I do not recommend Fabio. He has been absolutely awful in handling my order and refuses to do right saying he can't trust me and that I'm going to scam him if he sends me another window.

This guy has gone as far as saying that I broke the glass when I received it to scam him.

Why would I break something I have been waiting 6 months for?
I signed for the package and within 3 minutes I messaged him with photos of the product destroyed.

He is a scammer taking money and promising timeframes that he cannot fulfill.
Will you get a product? Possibly… but maybe not. And if you call him out forget it. He will make a huge deal and play victim and create lies to look like a good guy.

I had disputes both as a buyer and seller. Why don't you post a picture of the item received? Just as you opened it. Sometimes it's bad packaging, or bad deliveries. not
necessarily intentional. USPS, UPS and FedEx drivers are NOT the nicest or friendliest. I had a metal dog kennel dropped, yes dropped on my front porch. It was dented beyond repair. I assisted Amazon with the FedEx claim with video of how the driver slammed the package on the floor. My advise, don't accept packages with broken pieces.

Coordinated a sale via FB messenger, payment sent March 27 2025.

$1950 for front and two side safari windows on bay window bus.

He estimated six week delivery at that time.

I've checked in every month and just constantly receiving messaging that there are supply or quality issues.

I misjudged the paypal dispute window and unable to leverage refund - so here we are 7 months later and I have no shipment received and am out the monies, he continues to make promises to resolve but I have no expectation of a good ending for me.

Everything is documented between PayPal receipts and facebook messenger chat.
