I'm looking for the glass for my 1983 Vanagon Westfalia rear quarters. Does anyone have a source for these in the Puget Sound area? I'm restoring my Westfalia and need replacement glass as the factory blue tint is bubbling off and I'm replacing all the window rubber without chrome trim. I have the replace rubber just need the glass.

Did not know the factory ever tinted windows like that. I know they had green glass, tough. I thought cheap tint would turn blue (purple) and bubble up.

I had high quality tint put on will my windows were out. 5 years of constant outside exposure and they still look great.

I used the below website to help me with my tinting needs:

You might try contacting some of these posters that have removed the stock glass to add a jalousie to the rear. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=283728

I too was unaware of "factory" tinting that would bubble up. It sounds more like aftermarket tinting, which can be removed and cleaned up.
