For that price you could put in a new motor (of your choice Wink and still have a great deal. Somebody is going to snap this one up real fast! I give it a day.

That van is a stone's-throw from GoWesty which in their world means that van can be eventually sold for over $ 60,000. I'd be shocked if they didn't buy it.

Nice looking van,

Chester

If it was for real it would be stealing.... 3 similar adds (missed the 3rd one) at the same time but with different year vans. Right.
Rolling Eyes $20 bucks says it's b.s.

I'll bet these are unverifiable. Does this sound like something the Insurance companies might try to do to establish a low value record to counteract the high prices that these things really go for? Sounds like a conspiracy man!

Perhaps someone asked a "friend" how much their Westy is worth and this "friend" is posting bogus ads in order to get that vehicle C H E A P for his/herself.

Sneaky....

Or someone is not too familiar with Westfalia's and is posting for sale based on a Vanagon value, instead.

Or its a rustbucket.. or burning oil... or someone welded the drain plug shut Shocked
Buyer beware.

Deals can still be had. I passed on a fairly clean Westy Syncro for $8kish... and opted for an 89 Westy GL instead. Somtimes I regret it... not too often, though. 2WD is all I really need.

Has anyone actually checked? Following your philosophy that very rere Vanagon(six captains chairs) for a grand, worth as someone stated at least 12 had no right to happen.
