Hey, I just sold my 92 Loyale 4wd a few months back. They are such amazing little cars....tons of space inside, great on gas, hard to kill them too. I often off roaded mine, and could plow through more snow in that little car than most folks do in their giant 4x4 trucks. Good score! Most inexpensive 4x4 out there!

If you are looking to ham it up a bit, and modify it, this guy has some sweet aftermarket doo-dads. Check out the Loyale catching air on this link!

My wife's Subaru is a '93 Loyale wagon. It's a decent car, although they seem to rust to death. I'm driving it while the Vanagon is down and letting her shuttle the kids in my Outback.
Congrats on your purchase.

USMB is where I go to talk Subarus. They, like any car, will rust, especially if you're too lazy to wash them!

Here is my '96 Outback:

Sometimes it's difficult to find the right forum out of the many that are out there. For the ACVW crowd it's not too difficult, but for other vehicles it can be a chore.

Subies are great cars. I bought a brand new '87 DL then moved to a "00 impreza wagon, then bought a '03 Forester, that my kids took over. Finally a few weeks ago, I picked up this '05 WRX. I love it!

My wife recently went with a 2005 Forester XT (was a 6500K mile dealer trade in!) when our 02' Jetta started pissing us off. This grocery getter/sleeper ain't no joke, turbos rule! And heated leather seats are the shizzle!!

I have a friend who, is an anesthesiologist, and owns a WRX. He loves that car to no end and stated he will never give it up. Whenever we get hit with ice-storms here in the central Oklahoma area, he drives with no fear in the Suby.

We were driving home from skiing in Mt. Baker area. We saw at least 2 audi's and 4 or 5 volvo's getting stuck, even with the all wheel drive. We were driving my '03 Forester, made it through with no problem.

Of course they rust. That's to provide a supply of engines for Vanagon conversions! Smile

I traded in my '05 Impreza Outback Sport SE last year.

Hated that car. It didn't get that great of mileage, the auto transmission shifted oddly after a year (even though the service people assured me it was normal after repeated complaints), and I had to put two O2 sensors in it. The OEM tires sucked as it would not grip the road in snow at all. Replacing them made a remarkable improvement in traction.

When it comes to Subarus this is how I roll!
Ripping around my buddies back yard we hit a slight slope...
