Indeed. "The Perfect Season" now has a big asterisk.

No asterisk needed. It wasn't perfect.

I loved the defensive pressure they put on Brady. Justin Tuck should be the MVP

As a New Englander who give two shits about football. Wink
I guess the proposed parade in Boston on Tuesday will be a bit more tame. I am glad.

It has been a magical post-season as a life-long Giants fan in New England. It's unfortunate that the other local response is sour grapes.

It's about time somebody bashed New England's teeth in! And it couldn't have happened at a better game. Really don't care for the G-Men, although I found myself rooting for them as I can't stand the Pats.

So much for the "Greatest Team" in NFL History.......Now back to your regular scheduled program and the 1972 Dolphins thank you very much!

As much as I didn't want to see the Pat's win, NY didn't exactly "bash their teeth in".

And its still debatable who was the best team ever.

Classic, just classic. Congratulations Giants. Stop being sore losers Patriots, why did Belicheat have to run off the field before the game was over? Close, but not perfect. Great game. Hats off to the Giants.

I'm sure the Steelers of the 70's would have a difference of opinion, as would I. THEY are the greatest team ever...not just for one season.

At least pretty boy Brady had some class in what I heard him say on ESPN after the game. Can't say the same for his coach. Every interview was pissed off, sour grapes and whining. Wah...wah... Rolling Eyes

Congrats to the GGGGGGGG-MEN!

Boston has the World Series...that's enough.

That's probably a debate that would go on for ever. I think every person has their own idea of what makes a team great. Some will still think this season's Pats are the best.

No doubt. But the 70's Steelers did win 4 championships in 6 yrs if I remember correctly.

it was a great game from the get go....a real defensive nail-biter.

the giants had the pats on edge from their first possesion. they ate up 8-9 minutes and kept brady on the bench & off the field. after that they rattled his cage enough to keep him off his rythym.

there were some great plays on both sides of the ball, but i have to wonder why the pats gambled on that 4th down (in the 3rd quarter i believe, with plenty of game left) instead of trying for the field goal (49 yarder?) or at least pinning the giants deep. dick move.

i was routing for the pats, but knew deep down the giants would win. i shoulda put some money on that. Wink

one thing i cant understand is how the giants can call themselves "world champions"? they're super bowl champs. nothing more, nothing less.

What a great game, I won 80 bucks because the score didn't change for 2 quarters.
