I have one of these pumps fitted to my 2110, I want to go full flow. I've bought the Berg full flow kit and am going to tap the case without splitting. Can I use this pump or do I need to replace? I'm figuring the pump body is plugged and that I can put the berg full flow cover on it?

Anyone have any idea good or bad about this?

Thanks

If I remember correctly you will need to change the entire pump. All the Maxi pumps have their own internal in/out ports that are placed and designed to work with it's own cover and is not compatible with a standard full flow cover.

You cannot use the CB filter pump.
You will have to replace that oil pump with a normal pump.
If you do that you can tap/plug the pump discharge port itself and not risk getting shavings in the engine by tapping that passage in the case. You still have to drill and tap the oil inlet port.
