had a spare head that`s junk, so i did my first porting, made like a mini D port, i know it still needs polish and smooth out the edges, what you guys think about my first mess? should i do it for my real heads?

From what I can see in the pictures, it looks like you only enlarged the opening at the flange. You will need to point the port towards the valve as illustrated in Bill Fisher's book. I believe there is some info on CLF as well.

You dont want to polish the intake runners as it could cause puddling. Keep grinding away, you've got nothing to loose!

if you are going to atemempt to go ferther your going to need to get rid of the valve guide (TOP AND CORE DRILL) im sure you know this.this looks like a 113 head with no guide boss. dont take any more off the floor by the spring purch or you will break throue you may have already and you did not realize. the 113s drop in deeper on the floor. have fun makin chips. JD.

I have just performed porting. It it my first job on any car, and i dont know the final results yet
