Talked to a few shops and no one has them anymore- had a suggestion to use the hose next to it (025 121 073E) and cut to fit. Anyone had luck with this?

073E is 5
103C is 6
As an aside- anyone else dealt with Van-Cafe over the phone lately? I've called twice and both times the guy seemed pretty grumpy and not all that interested in helping. Have ordered quite a bit with them via the website and always had a good experience.
Cheers all! |

While I can not help with the hose. I would not take Van Cafe as being grumpy , maybe a little short of time .If you have ever been there and seen their operation you would understand how they are able to deliver so quickly . Those guys are moving all day with phones and counter sales and I can see where weird things might slow them down ,but they definitely care about there customers and getting them back on the road.. _________________ 1987 Syncro Westfalia Triple knob (bastard)

Look at your old hoses and see if it can be done. Simple.
Typically those big hoses do not go bad.
It is all the little ones.
But, you never know.....

It's tearing at the thermostat / waterpump flange- I can actually see metal there (can't believe it's not leaking yet) |

Had same problem about a year ago. I cut it where it was tearing and clamped it good and have been traveling since. But I did find a good used one on Samba classifieds, actually got all four of the big hoses off Samba and they travel with me all the time. 84 1.9. |
