ive got a couple of questions, first off there are 2 wires coming from my dist 1 red 1 black and on my coil 2 posts one marked 15 and the other 1 the red goes to 15 and the black to one corrct just want to be sure. also i bought a new 1776 longblock and when i was putting the rest of the parts on i noticed there is no hole drilled for the oil sensor is there another place to put this or what else can i do to make this work? thanks guys. |

I can only answer your first question, the 15 is + the 1 is -. Check your wires to make sure the red is + and black is -. |

thanks thats what i thought but i wanted to make sure before i connected the battery. can anyone help with my other and probably more concerning problem of no oil sensor hole. |

whats the difference between a type 1 and 3? there is a little bump and circle where the hole should be but its just flat not tapped. i really dont want to go w/o the oil sensor. |
