Been awhile... Finally wrapped up my brakes today, bled them out nice and mounted my tires.
6" Linkpin Type1 conversion beam, CB disc dropped spindles, 145's up front, Ports, 15x6 Rader
Shortaxle tranny, Thin early bug "Im gonna die because a Type three is so heavy" brakes, 195/65 out back, Ports 15x6 Rader.
Really I want a little bit taller tire out back, but we'll see how well these fit... honestly its all still up in the air over how well it will all fit under the fenders.
Once I get my axle boots and gear oil in the tranny, the body will be finally going back on. _________________ • Metal Fab & Quality Suspensions, Type I-II-III. Since 2004 • |

Took some lousy pics today with my junk camera. Doesnt look like much, being multi-colored... but its getting there.
The back will sit totally different once I get my engine in there. Shit is skateboarded about 1" In the rear due to the gnarly offset and adapters.... Drilled drums are in the mail though.

No progress really...... but pictures none the less. Still gotta work and paint the bolt-ons.....Doors are welded up ( Extra screw holes where trim went, stock mirror holes and the bottom of my drivers door was gone)
Bunch of customer work will override this thing, but Hopefully it will be done in a few months.

You should turn that boot so that the seam faces forward. Since I'm sure that Notch is gonna be slammed, if you're riding around with it up it'll be constantly compressed and prone to rip. _________________ 1967 Squareback |

^^ I kinda went back and forth with that boot seam, actually....
Thanks for the advice!
