Speedo Reconditioning

Can anyone recommend a good place to have my speedo completely re-conditioned, rather than just repaired. I would also like a cosmetic reconditioning (new gels, seal).

if you look at hemmings motor news magazine then you can find many shops that do it there. im not sure if its listed on the website but try anyways www.hemmings.com

Further research indicated Wolfsburg West has a guy who repairs and re-conditions for only $110. My local shop here in Eugene wanted $80 just for the repair. Wolfsburg will either repair the unit out of your vehicle, or if you need faster service, will send one out right away with a core charge.
