it has dual weber 44 idfs. flame thrower coil, distributer and wires. an oil cooler with and electric fan.
what are your experiences with them? pluses and minuses. _________________ 1966/1959 standard: 1300cc , 6inch slammed DD
1973 standard: 1600cc, og stocker
1966 standard: incomplete volksrod w/ 2187cc
1972 transporter: incomplete slightly lowered

Depends on who built it, the parts used, etc... Take it for a ride and see how it handles mid throttle driving. Pay attention to what it does with light pedal movements in traffic type driving. If the car drives smooth under these conditions then you can figure the owner either knew what he was doing or the person that does his work knew what they were doing. This is not an end all, be all solution. If you have the skills and tools check the compression.
