I noticed on my flywheel that there is a small groove carved into it where the rear main seal was riding on it. Does this mean the flywheel is shot or can I salvage it?

LOL I tried but my crappy camera wont focus in on it without it getting fuzzy.....Regardless I just made an executive decision and drove out to DRD and bought a new one. Its for a complete rebuild and with my luck I would get it all together and the dang thing would leak from the seal. I would rather have the wife yell at me for the extra $120 then face the real aggrivation of pulling the engine and redoing it. I can tone her out easier then an oil leak...... Very Happy
