Check that the cable is not too tight... how much free play do you have at the pedal?

Another possibility is a "spun" rear brake drum.... when the big nut is not tightend enough over time the hardend German steel splined shafts tear up the weaker cast iron of the drum and the splines eventually wear out... Pull both your rear hubcaps and take a look... Red rusty powder is a dead give away.... I'm not saying you don't have a clutch problem but this is real easy to check out and gives the same or similar symtoms up to the point that the vehicle will eventually go nowhere.....

Thanks I'll check it out. Just pulled the engine out the fly wheel looks polished the clutch and pressure plate look good. And it looks like the transmission seal has a little leak but nothing on the clutch parts.
Thanks for the info

Jesse

Did you pull the flywheel and replace the rear main seal and O ring?

If you have not you may want to read the thread titled "greasy rigid disc" some info there on this.... its on this page I think just a few days ago....
