I have used the Jacob's product for years with good results. How is it different than the Pertronix box and which is better?

The Jacob's unit is a multiple spark discharge system. The pertronix or compu-fire is a points replacement. Either can be used in conjunction with one another or separately. I've run both a pertronix and jacobs, and for the money, you're better off running a pertronix with a cdi (say from aircooled.net). Save a few pennies.

Thanks. I made a mistake. I guess I meant the MSD product, not the points replacement.
