I know this show does not happen for another 6 months, I just wanted to tell you all that it will be July 27th at Portland International Raceway here in Oregon. The February issue of VW Trends (one with the red drag fastback) has a 2 page blip about the one that happened last year.
Ideas so far will be many many new show classes so if you bring an oddball vehicle, it will now have a class as well as all old and new.
Also looks like the parking arrangements will be different. Those people with VW's will be able to park on site, since at some shows (Puyallup), all the really nice cars are in the parking lot while all the regulars are in the show. If it is a VW parking will be available, Ford and Chevy's, etc...yup you guessed it, back 40.
Really sounds like it will be a lot better show, we had people from the raceway were at our meeting tonight discussing plans with us. We are at the prototype stage if you will, but I figured I would advertise a little at least.

| Hehe, not sure that I will be heading down the strip this time. I don't know that I can afford to show and drag at the same time. Might try something different and just show this time. |
