Hi, I just bought a petri horn ring for my 56-59 steering wheel. Does anyone know what attaches it to the wheel? I am surely missing a part that would fit inbetween the 2 pieces. I took out the original horn button and the horn ring aligns perfect but i don't have anyway to attach it. any help especially pics would be great.
thanks!!
Ron..

Man that sucks that you are missing that peice. It has 3 screws that push 3 pins out when you ren the screws in. Not only that but the way the ring attaches to the center hub is crazy. I have 2 of the rings you are talking about. On need the mounting hardwear also. I took the one with the hardwear to a machinist freind and he was like, "ya I can make it but some of the parts will have to be motified cause this is just too intricate". And he wouldnt even give me a price. Theres a wierd wave washer and clip that are like nothing Ive seen before. I figured I wouldnt bother and Ill wait untill I find someone that needs just the ring, and Ill sell it. Ill take some pictures of what I have in a minute an post them for you. Good luck finding that part. I hope you find one before me...LOL.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures. I did a hurry up thing with the Digi camera. You can see the important part though. And now you have an idea of what you are looking for. Which equals...MMMMMM.... a Hens tooth, or lips for a chicken. If any of you reading this have one or two of these rare birds for sale please drop us a line. rksoucy4144 and I will have to fight over it if theres only one. Good luck bro. I needed it too and ended up buying a hole new one.
