70 hp superbug

hope i'm not posting this in the wrong place . but has anyone heard about the 70 hp superbug called "dodo" prounced doedoe ? it's the german version of herbie . came out in the 70's , not sure of the number of films made on the car . anyone ?

"Superbug" as in Super Beetle or as in a Beetle that is "Super".. like extra special?

Never heard of it, but it would of been a custom car like the Herbie's that Disney had made.

it may be both not really sure but i,d say super , it beats people up , talks to it's onwer , even flys
