is it possible to pull a head with out droppping the motor? Either way I'm ok doing it, but would prefer to leave the motor where she is sitting and not have to drop it although it will probably be 10 times easier. Also, how much to I need to drop the motor and how much to I need to take off it to get to wha tI need to get to? I am looking to make this as easy as possible.

if you are looking for easiest, then drop the engine... if you are looking for experience in why you should drop the engine to pull the head, then do it while the engine is installed.... really...drop the engine...

you can't... the four bottom studs must be removed so the head can clear the engine bay shelf...
