|
Any idea why my seat is so whacked? I've looked at other photos on the site and haven't seen anyone else's that stick so far out. When I got the bus the seat was in two parts and I had to put bolts in the seat frame to put it back together. Maybe I identified the wrong parts, but I thought the back had to be the one with the hook on it? The seat base brackets are bolted to the floor and one side looks like it could be moved back but not the other.... what am I missing here?
Thanks!

Look under the rubber mat, did someone move the brackets further ahead? _________________ Joey

Somethings odd there, you can see the slot in the mat where the welded on outer seat bracket should stick up. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Here's a '71
and a '70
The hook in the seat back wouldn't be engaged in the recepticle in the body with the seat bottom as far forward as yours. Maybe it isn't a bus seat? _________________ 71 Superbug

I have looked and there are holes, rusty holes where the bracket would be on the spot nearest the door! The inner one could be moved back but the outer spot is going to need some repair before it will be right. Thanks for the sanity check guys... _________________ http://jennythewonderbus.blogspot.com |
