Saw this on the San Diego Craigslist. Went and checked out their website, seemed alright. Just a new website. Until I saw the special section in the photo gallery saying, AND OF COURSE... THE CHICKS.
Huzzah, for the objectification of women! I admit that there are two pictures that I would consider tasteful, but the rest is just pure objectification.
End Result: This club lost my vote.

uhm.... I don't see any issues? they got some cute chicks to pose for some risque photos with VW's... I wouldn't its anymore objectification of women than any other scantily clad models you find in tv, movies, magazines, fashion articles, etc.

They are copied from other sites and have nothing to do with the club for one. And to two, I wish there were more pics like that  Im sure there are ones out there with cute guys all over the cars for the ladies to see.

dude- you're going to tell me that you have all those classic cars, and you don't have ANY classic car magazines that have pics of chick and cars? i highly doubt it. But in the strange scenario that you don't - then there might be a bigger issue than you not liking the pictures. its not a club its a website. the point of a website is to give people what they want. and there are a lot of guys out there who like to see chicks - if there weren't then Playboy wouldn't be around. do you write to them and tell them how you feel? i doubt it. so why don't you stick to the shop section of the site and leave the pics alone. i guarantee you find the best work around and thats probably why you clicked on it in the first place, Right? Why is this in the type 3 section? And why didn't you have the nerve to say that in a message on the website? WWW.SOCALVDUBZ.COM New Event on August !st

yeah if you right click the image and choose view image you can see it in its full form. and to those who think they are too sophisticated or too holy for my site they don't come to it. you can find service for your VW elsewhere. don't even waste your time talking about it because what you don't realize is the more you talk about it the more interested people get. keep talking its only helping me out.

Too sophisticated? Too holy? For the sole fact that I don't approve of the objectification of women? I admit there are attractive pictures of women and cars when properly shot and not made to look like some piece of meat to be displayed for your willful enjoyment. I will not get my VW serviced from you or any people that have the same taste of misogynistic pictures as you. As for your "free advertising," I would ask that no one supports your website, but people are going to do what they are going to do. I can only express my opinion and act on it in the hope that maybe I could change someones view and they do the same.
Maybe you should take a serious look at what you are talking about and look at the way you are acting, because I assure you, what you are doing in distasteful and flat out disgusting. Try to look outside your social construction bubble of what is "man," and you might be able to possibly understand what I am saying.

| dude im happy for your BA's- thats what you wanted to do with your life. this is what i want to do with mine. if you were a teacher i wouldn't come to your school and badmouth your teaching style so id appreciate the same courtesy. as for not using anyone i advertise- well you're just costing yourself more in the long run. dont hate them for things I say, im my own person. |

Criticizing someones teaching style and posting pictures on a website that many find offensive/derogatory are two completely different things. I'm not putting any criticism towards your choice in life, what I am criticizing is pictures on your website. And as long as you own a company (or however you are related to the company) that hosts those type of pictures, than I think it appropriate to call out what is wrong with your company, and what is wrong is that socalvdubz.com is a misogynistic company.
