Have a fat chick and hate those huge bumpers?

Thought I'd share a photo of a modified 2-piece rear bumper bracket I made using 68-73 rear bumper mounts, and some 1/4" steel. I cut and welded nuts to the inside of the factory rear bracket and welded up some mounting plates to bolt to the stock rear body mount for a 74 and later car.

Since the front body mounts are flat, all you need to do is transfer new holes, drill and well in some 8mm nuts. Add your 68-73 fenders with small opening and your done!

For you low-back seat fans, I've also modified the bottom seat tracks to fit the late 3-point seat tracks.

photos of my '74 std shown here: body made to look like a 72, interior like a 66, metal sunroof grafted from 67. Motor is a 2058 cc homemade draw-through turbo setup, all fits under the decklid.
