Not a very good pic, PO did it in mine.
It's the coolest thing on earth, got room for for 6 people in the back seats and three on the floor. Sleeps 2 comfortable. _________________ 1973 Bay Window - Maggie the Magical Mystery Bus

I'm doing something similar to this with mine. I have a Westy though with an icebox which I'll be leaving in place. I'm just leaving out the sink cabinet and putting in a small bench seat in its place. I figure it'll be a nice place to set and drink your favorite cold beverages when we are camping. _________________ Check out my Westy resto. thread.

It's not a westy :/ And I'm going to take the arm rest off to make for a better nap, but I suppose you could, if you were determined. _________________ 1973 Bay Window - Maggie the Magical Mystery Bus

Heyo...
A work in progress... as a few others have mentioned, I wanted to keep the icebox in the corner with the 2 n 2 on either side. The side bench was handmade with MDF. will house my system underneath. It's coming along .
Should be good for the social circles!

That is just a Vanagon middle row seat. I think it would be even better if that right arm rest was removed, so when you fold the rear bed out it could rest right on that padding - i *think* it sits lower to the ground where it wouldn't be propped up too much or at all.
that Helsinki interior is pretty much made exactly for that. when you fold out the bed you just remove the cushion off of the side bench and probably use it as a pillow even. |

Hey, gmag69 - That's exactly what I want to do with the new rescued bus. It's a Westy (1976) but is missing the sink cabinet. I like the jump seat idea, and I would upholster it to match the green/orange plaid. That's the long-range plan, anyway. _________________ John

I'm going to upholster the rear bed like the jumpseat is.It needs redone anyways. Then I'm probably cover the cushions (rear and up top) later in the same material. the jump seat is actually a cut down full width westy bed I had that was getting water damaged from setting around. I figured it would be better to do this with it then let it get ruined anymore then it had already. I'm pleased with the turnout. _________________ Check out my Westy resto. thread.
