Type 2 steering damper specs.

Good morning. Can someone please provide me with the lengths, mounting hole to mounting hole, fully extended and fully collapsed, of the Type 2 steering damper? I'm rebuilding a vintage pre-runner and the existing damper needs to be replaced. I've replaced the old Volvo rack with a new Saco unit and the old damper won't work in the new configuration. Thank you.

An NOS Cofap shows 10 1/4" closed and 15 1/2" open center to center.
