changed my muffler, that went well.
for reasons I had to remove the carb and pull the two left plugs.
all put back together and she runs great, except when I stop, she doesn't idle.
Is there something about the new "stock type" muffler that effects the running idle? _________________ Leds all over my bus!

i'd really like to know what those reason were.
and maybe what size engine, what type engine, what carb set up you are running, what muffler you put on, you know, information that might help diagnose what is going on. |

Check to make sure wires to idle solinoid and choke are back on in place. _________________ 1975 Campmobile

you hit it on the head, one of the wires to the coil was off, must have hit it.
the reason I had to remove the carb and the two left plugs. PO had an AC unit it it. I removed all but some kind of plate/bracket that held something in the engine sections. couldn't remove the tins without getting rid of the bracket.
thanks again
ps:
on removing the muffler-
All went as hard as I expected and as well as I hoped for.
took my time, had a little trouble figuring our all the parts from all the kits.
Should be quieter, maybe a little warmer for when it gets down to the 40s.
whoever designed the heater exchange/muffler and everything else down there, must have been either a tiny hand person with tiny tools or a sadist. _________________ Leds all over my bus!

Muffler was designed by an anal engineer with a bean counting accountant as an assistant.
Glad it was easy for you. Always doublecheck your work
One night I put a engine in my singlecab.. It ran just fine except I forgot the clutch I don't work drunk in dark, anymore. _________________ 1975 Campmobile
