Headlight changes?

I was wondering what were the headlight changes. I was looking at Wolfsburg West headlight lenses and some lenses say 1960 and older and some say 1961-67 years. I cant tell the differences in headlights.

If you're talking sealed beams (US & Canada), the repro clear lenses are "one size fits all" for 1953-66. For fluted lenses (rest of world), there are two basic types: symmetric (directs beam straight ahead) and asymmetric (focuses beam slightly to the right). VW made the change from symmetric to asymmetric lenses for the 1961 model year (LHD cars only). Unless you never intend to drive at night, don't install fluted lenses in front of sealed beam bulbs.
