i ran a leak down test on the motor and it is leaking around everything...

and i was wondering if there is supposed to be a gasket around the head and jug... i ran a few without it but now im starting to wonder....

No gasket between head and cylinder.

Your need some valve work.

i prefure copper on a performane engine 040 copper and 010 static deck. on a stock engine i just let it fly with iron to aluim. also you have to check head fin to barrel clearense this could be your problem . jeff d.

X2 like JD said,but you can also lap them in with a little valve grinding compound for a better seal,Madmike
