I'm trying to install a Wolfsburg West 12 volt armature in a 61 SWF 6 volt wiper motor.
https://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/DetailsList.cfm?ID=113955811B
It appears that the commutator is too large a diameter and one of the brushes is a poor fit because of this.
Anyone have a solution for this or did they send me the wrong armature?
The WW ad description says "install in less than 5 minutes." Are they serious?
It seems these vendors just don't give a $hit what they sell anymore. _________________ WANTED:

Very helpful video. I like that guy's attention to detail. When he said "I'm gonna save the original commercial grey paint on the bracket" I knew he wasn't your run of the mill Youtube shill. _________________ WANTED:

Stocknazi - was your problem the exact same issue as the guy in the video? Same issue with the armature perch being out of alignment from the factory? _________________ My Beetles :
