I need to replace these knobs on one of my seats. I have a donor seat to get the parts from..but does anyone know how to remove the knob?? I see a little hole in it but can't tell if there is a screw or something in there.

Do they use any sort of lube when they administer the "Buyer's Premium" or do you have to take it dry? Do you get a belt to bite down on? Courtesy reach-around?[/quote] |

There is a very small diameter dowel pin holding the eccentric knob assembly together. Use a drift (a finishing nail may work) with a hammer. The pin should push out |

It could possibly be rusted in place, thats how some knobs were on my 56. Try some sort of lubricant, thats what i had to do. |

Did you push the dowel out from the smaller hole out of the bigger hole? _________________ 56 Canadian Standard Oval - not 100% original but it makes me happy
