If you live in New Zealand the government has banned Smoking for anyone that is below a certain age. At some point cigarettes will not be sold. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]

Thanksgiving marked 5 years of being a non-smoker, feels great.
Still have the urge every now and then, but it's only momentary.
Like any addiction, all you have to do is stop doing it. It's that easy. _________________ Brandon |

My dad smoked 5 packs of unfiltered Camels; he quit smoking by dying at age 65, emphysema, terrible way to die. My mom hadn't smoked in 55 years but still developed lung cancer - maybe from his second hand smoke - and died at age 85 (but had memory issues/dementia the last two years).
You'll stop smoking - one way or the other !!!! And what's pack cost these days?????????????????????? _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. Well done , Erik. Nicotine is as addictive as cocaine or heroin, and it’s argued that it might be more so. At that level , that debate isn’t really meaningful. _________________ .ssS! |

I smoked because I liked it. From the time I was 18 until the time I was about 51ish? A doctor told me after having a minor surgery, that the best thing I could do to heal myself would be to quit smoking I begrudgingly quit and started vaping. I was under the belief that vaping was a "safer" alternative to smoking... again I continued to vape until I just didn't enjoy it any more. Pain in the ass coils, juice... effing batteries and chargers... aaarrrgghhh!!! It stopped being enjoyable. I haven't put nicotine into my body since Thanksgiving 2021. Good luck to all who try. It CAN be done. _________________

At close to $10 a pack here in Ca. I expect it will be a rather large number! _________________

Lets say a pack a day for 2094 days at $10.00 a pack = $20,940
What a waste of money... _________________ F#CK CANCER

Feb. 28 -ish was my 3rd year of no smoking weed, I hadn't smoked Cigs since I was 14, but 48 years of weed did some damage, but I'm happy I quit, for my family, no booze or caffeine as well. _________________ Tom

I smoked cigarettes for over 15 years and tried everything to quit, from patches to gum, but nothing stuck until I switched to vaping. It wasn't an easy transition; I had a bunch of issues with my vapes at first—things like leaking, battery life problems, and figuring out the right nicotine strength. Thankfully, the Nexus Smoke Help Center was a lifesaver. They helped me troubleshoot every issue I had, which made sticking with vaping a lot easier. They were patient, knowledgeable, and always ready to help me out. Now, I'm doing much better and haven't touched a cigarette in months.

I smoked for 22 years, started late in my 30's. Quit cold turkey. In order to quit cold turkey you need motivation. My motivation was a talk with my father shortly before Mom passed. She had been toting an Oxygen tank behind her for 17 years prior. There is nothing good, satisfying, or beneficial about cigarettes. Put that cash toward car parts and entertainment. Good luck to all who are fighting. _________________ "A life of peace and happiness depends on your own gratefulness" |

I quit November 1991 after many tries. I smoked over a pack a day, and it was very difficult to say the least. I started running more and more when the urge came up, boy i was in good shape back then. My health and fitness immediately improved. Don't miss them at all, although can't stand to be around them now, they stink to high heaven. _________________ So far on beetle number 8

been almost a year for me.
never had a bad cigarette. I fuckin miss them like you read about. no gum (well Dentyne ICE) and Werthers Originals. Now I clink them against my teeth like an 80 year old
The cravings still come and go and at fucked up times. I could be just chillin with my kid and want one, or be in a road rage situation and not even think about it.
Told my wife if the shit hits the fan, I'm going out like a rockstar. at that point, fuck it....That is just how much I enjoyed them _________________
