I am building my first Manx style buggy and I need a source for parts to fit the shortened pan like shortened brake cables, brake lines and the other things.

Is there a source for these parts or will this have to be a do-it-youself experiment in shortening a VW.

All help appreciated.

I think Locash John sells a variety of shortened cables and such. He is a regular here. Try contacting him.

You can buy a kit to shorten your cables:

http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC%2DC10%2D2565

The brake line can be cut and reflared or some people just coil it.

X2. It's actually Lester at LoCash Racing who will get the cables for you. Here's the link to their site for ordering:

www.locashracing.org/

I have their shortened brake and clutch cables and they work perfectly. Did I mention they have a lifetime warranty? Not a commercial, just a thought....

Now, if someone only sold shortened shiftrods... Very Happy
