87 vanagon 2.1

I need help i jave a 87 vanagon 2.1 and somerimes the fuel pump works right sometimes it doesnt i replaced the relays the dist and rotor new plugs new fuel filter new fuel pump and when i turn on key the rmp gauge bounces and there is a electrical noise it doesnt happen all the time and it is a new issue van ran very well previously and i dont have a clue what to do now please help

What do you mean by electrical noise? Maybe you can post a video.
Which relays did you replace?

One cheap thing to change is the ignition switch. Might solve your problem, if not, well you've got a spare.

Welcome! When you first turn the key to the On position (NOT trying to start the engine) the fuel pump is supposed to cycle for a few seconds. Does yours reliably do this? Also, the pump has + and - terminals, so it can be connected incorrectly.

When you turn key on it sometimes cycles correctly a d most of the time recently it sounds like it isnt working properly thats where the electrical buzzing starts can fire it up fine on a cold start but when you turn off and try to re start you get the weird sound and wont start i put a new bosch pump and filter in 2 weeks ago and replaced bolth relays in the black box above the coil

Is the weird sound you hear a buzzing sound coming from the pump itself because that is fairly common if not normal and if it runs and starts fine when cold but then makes the same sound and doesnt start after it warmed up it could be a temperature switch and not the pump at all I would do a search for temp II switch and try to rule that out first
