With the poor quality of those photos and no information as to what kind of car or engine you have, I think we may have some problems identifying your distributor, too.

Pull it out and take a look at the numbers written on the side of it. Most likely the dreaded 009 as mentioned, but there are a couple of variants, an 050 and some other number as well, IIRC.

If its the 009 then what would be the best thing to replace it with. its a 74 dual carb engine

At a second look the cap has ears for the cap clips... it's a 050.

so i ordered a tuneup kit from busdepo and the cap and rotor don't fit. what is the correct cap and rotor that i need ? thanks
