I know I have seen some really cool odd ball campers over the years. 3 or 4 of them show up at BBB in Havasu Arizona each year. Tubdub also has one. I would love to see people post some pics. Here is mine. A Bestel Wagon Motorhome. With a toilet & shower. She is running an 1800cc Subaru motor. Has a roof mounted A/C unit & 3 different heating systems.
This last one is totally cool. I do not think you can get this view from any other Bus.

Hey Tubdub, hows the get-up-and-go on that beast? Also, did that start life as a single cab? |

Having tried to keep up with it in my stock SO-42 I can say that it gets up and goes quite well. I'm sure the header and dual carbs help. |

I was really hoping to see some really odd ball campers at BBB this year. There always seams to be 1-2 each year. So I did some searching to find some pics of a few of them.
I love this one. I was told the owner is from Las Vegas. Does anyone know? _________________ Home of the one true split Bus Motorhome |

Anyone have a picture of the DC with the camper on the bed and over the cab? The entrance was thru the original side door. The one picture I saw years ago was pretty bad and only one. But that setup was awesome. I'm thinking that YUSTRN might have been involved somehow. Anyway, I would love to see some more pics of that one. _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

This thread makes me want to find an already hacked up bus and make a Kamper. _________________ • Metal Fab & Quality Suspensions, Type I-II-III. Since 2004 • |

tubdub-Thanks for the tip. It was right on.
Slowlow-Thanks for the pic. That is exactly the one I was thinking about.
Although the buses pictured so far must rank among the MOST heinous of hacks, I want one! The beauty of these is you are merely preserving the vile result of someone else's twisted vision. You can't be faulted for the carnage. But you can enjoy the end product. I for one, want to see more. _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon
