does the jeremy bar come in contact with the bumper during travel. trying to keep damage (physical and paint) to a minimum.

Buy Jeremy’s bar. You’ll be pleased. Get a set of magnetic tow lights (LED). Remember to remove the lower zerc fittings in the beam. Get a safety chain.

I'll second what Aeromech said and add that it's a work of art that's built like a tank.
Just received mine last week. Jeremy was a pleasure to work with and I think now he's adding the safety chains, as they were on mine.

And NASkeet, You have to have a wrecker tow them?

I grant that the illustrated towing configuration would not seem to be very sensible, but also notice, that of necessity, there is a driver in the towed BMW, who is there to apply the car's brakes.

Under NO circumstances, would one be allowed to tow on the public highway, an unbraked trailer with an overall permitted mass in excess of 750 kg; even if the towing vehicle were a heavy-weight lorry.
