June 22nd was named "International Drive Your VW To Work Day," marking the anniversary of the 1936 agreement which put the Beetle into production. (If June 22nd falls on the weekend, the date is moved to the Friday before the actual anniversary.)

Searched the site and suprised no one has posted this up yet. I would like to propose a twist to this movement.

Who else is tired of seeing this at the bottom of The Samba Forums page?
"Most users ever online was 1394 on Wed Jun 20, 2007 8:33 pm"

Let's make June 22, 2009 "Drive your VW to work day" and "Log on to The Samba day". Try and stay logged on all day and see if we can update the "Most users ever online" total.

Uh...ok, for those of you who are:
Unemployed
Working from home
Don't work
Retired
Work in a submarine
Etc...
Try and drip some oil from your VW around town on June 22nd.

My VW's do not leak oil.
If they do, I fix them.

That's because you use to have to sign in to read the rants.

Man, if it's the 19th, that gives me even less time to fix my floor first. Laughing
