OK so I have come to the realization that I do have the dreaded Dellorto drip. I have an electric fuel pump and have been draining the carbs before the carbs sit. Naturally the carbs don't completely drain but leave about 4mm in the bottom of the float bowls on the one that doesn't contain the drip. The one with the drip is naturally dry as a bone. On the same side when I removed the carbs to go through them there was varnish sitting at the bottom of the intake port. The car had been shut off for a day so yeah. I know this is a problem I need to take care of. Can any one recommend any one that still does this? I'd like to send both in to have them examined if possible.
