Hi,
Is there a short cut to removing the drivers seat to get to the battery?
Got to get to the battery turning part is in the way.
Any help would be great!
Thanks for your time!

If this is a Westy swiveling front seat you should be able to get to the battery just by turning the seat facing rearward.

In my 88, I need to slide the seat all the way forward. Then I have to swivel the seat just a little each way to get the corners of the battery cover up one at a time.

Remeber that the lid on this side is hindged.

The drivers seat in a westy doesn't swivel 180. You need to slide it forward toward the steering wheel and release the catch to take the seat completely out. Then you can swivel the base without the seat and remove the battery.
