Has anybody tried OETIKER clamps on fuel lines? pros /cons?

Nice clamps...but as the hoses harden and/or shrink...they can leak. And...unelss you carry your cutter/crimpers and spares...you can get "left".

Simply buy screw type "fuel-injection" clamps ....available at most flaps for cheap. They don't have those stupid serrations that screw up your hose....like garden hose clamps.
Its what came on the factory fuel injection.

I like the ABA band clamps (right side) that have rolled edges and apply equal force 360 degrees.

So for peace of mind and reliablity go with the FI clamps. I'm replacing all the fuel line on my FI squareback just want to make sure i do it right the first time. Thanks guys

Sweet! Thank you Glenn. I have not been familiar with that brand...but they appear to almost identical to OEM quality...which is all I use. I collect then from junkyards whenever I can find them. Have bucket full...Ray
