I am having trouble getting it to move to line up the bolt holes. The tranny and engine are mated togther in the van, Do I need to put it in nuetral or have the rear wheels in the air? Looked around online couldnt find the answer. _________________ 95 GMC Yukon 6.5 TD 2 Door Tow pig/ Daily driver.

put it in neutral, make sure your wheels are blocked. you don't want it to roll. put a socket & ratchet with short extension on the crankshaft pulley bolt If I recall correctly it is a 36MM. turn engine over by hand watch for bolts to line up in hole on case. there are 3 bolts. break first bolt loose, but do not remove... move on to next bolt break it loose then do last one, then go on back to other two bolts and remove those. It's nice to bag N tag your parts too.. |

| The torque converter should spin freely against the flex plate, the transmission does not need to be in neutral, park, or any gear, makes no difference. If it does not spin freely I would be concerned you didn't have the shafts splined correctly before you put everything is place. |
