bodywork rust

I have a few areas on my car where hte rust has comethrough the paintwork on hte body. Now I dont want to repaint the car jsut yet but want to stop the rust. Is there anything I can paint on to stop the rust which wont need overpainting???

help appreciated.

Sounds like a job for a legitimate bodyshop.
