Looking to get myself a new 009 distributor, whats the difference between the 009 & centrifugal 009?
Or are they the same thing?
Thanks. |

It depends... what are the full 10 digit part numbers?
There's a 0231 137 009 which is vacuum only, there's a 0231 178 009 that is mechanical only and there's a 0231 153 009 that's for a Alfa Romero. _________________ Glenn

if your running a stock engine then keep your stock distributor if you have it, _________________ (06:31:07) RoachGhia: "i drink dick way too fast" |

| It is all stock apart from the addition of twin 34 ICT's, which obviously are'nt the biggest of twin carbs. What would you suggest, if i can get the 009 cheap i may try them both out and see which works best for me. |

Twin ict's are a decent match on a stock 1600, if they have a vacuum port you can run a line to the stock vacuum can on your stock distributor from one, (or for a less pulsing vacuum signal T across from both carbs)
What is the part number on your stock distributor? _________________ (06:31:07) RoachGhia: "i drink dick way too fast" |
